TALENTED ORPHAN HEALING AID (TOHAid)
TOHAid is a registered non-profit based organization in Nakivale Refugee Settlement, Isingiro district, south-west Uganda. TOHAid was founded by Benefice Tuyisenge, an orphaned Burundian refugee, on August 12th, 2015, to coordinate with other vulnerable refugee children and youth to overcome the challenges they were facing in education, health, and security as a result of the financial instability in refugee communities and political crises in East African countries.

Girl Empowerment Program
The Girls Empowerment in Action (GEA) was implemented by TOHAid to empower young adolescent girls who are jobless, alienated from the community, out of school or stigmatized due to poverty or other factors.

Leadership Workshop
TOHAid provides local refugees with essential skills in organization, communication, monitoring, operation, planning, and evaluation in order to foster effective local leadership within community-based NGOs in Nakivale.
Educational Skits
Due to the effects of the insurgency in Burundi, many refugees lost their loved ones. TOHAid organizes skits that help refugees overcome and deal with the trauma that was brought about by the insurgency.
Child Support
TOHAid annually gives scholastic materials such as books, pens, school bags, and school uniforms to vulnerable children in support of their educational interests.
